Oddity of the Week - How Big Is Your Parasol?

0 Conversations

You want more fashion? You asked for it, you got it.

Parasols? So in!

Woman with a parasol.

Constantin Guys [French, 1802 - 1892] painted this yummy picture, called 'Woman with a Parasol'. Now, ladies, don't you want to wear something like this? We're sure we could find the dress pattern.

What's that, you say? You don't? Why not? Oh, you wouldn't fit in the door at work, and you'd feel like part of the furniture? We hear you.

Of course, then you'd have an answer to that annoying nitwit in Human Resources who always asks, 'What colour is your parasol?' (Or was that 'parachute'? We forget.)

Cute little fantasy pic, though, innit?
