Make no mistake
Whatever else it takes
It has taken some time
to overtake the planet's capacity
to support our species.
We took our time and took
all the earth had to offer.
Now we ask how long will it take us
to fly to Andromeda.
Who should we take? What shall we take?
We can't take a train. We can't take a plane.
We can't even take our time.
Such an undertaking involves overtaking light.
Not gonna happen overnight.
And some'll say it aint that bright
an idea.
