I always thought 'Flowers for Algernon' was the most moving scifi story ever written.

I remember liking it. Unfortunately that's usually as much as I remember of any given book. 
And apologies for the typo in the title; typing one-handed on my iPad is not as easy as it should be. And Apple's autocorrect is very, very annoying.
