As is usual with your writing minorvogonpoet, your piece is sensitively written, and I felt myself touched by the power of the words you use to evoke the feeling engendered by this book.
I've passed this title by, in bookshops, but now I wish I had read it.
I'm sort of hankering after this Entry to go into the Edited Guide. Originally, when we were planning the future of h2g2, we were firmly for widening the brief of what should be included - and how to bridge the gap between the UG and the EG. This is the sort of quality Entry that should have a wider audience.
Whatever the outcome in the short term, thank you for submitting this Entry, it will act as an exemplar standard for other book reviews.

I'm on the same lines as Lanza here, this is very well written, I myself have read the book and loved it, as has my wife.
You've captured it very nicely, with some delicate tweaking I think this would do very well in the EG, just alter the first person references, and put it into Peer Review!
YOu may like to look at some of the other book Entries in the EG already to see what the style is like, owever, I would not get caught up in that too much. this is a short and lovely summary of a fantastic book. A taster, if you like.
Some reviewers could want you to include more background history, or apparent symbolism, or author biography.
Don't.
This is succint and lovely with just enough information not to spoil reading the book again.
Thank you.

Darn. I was too slow. I was all ready to steal this for . That's okay - take it for PR, it's a great review.
I hadn't heard of this book, by the way. I'll have to try and find it.

Except that I'm not clear how to move it!
There used to be a button that you could click to remove, but it's not there any longer.

Okay, I *think* you go to the AWW, scroll down, and click the X beside the title. Maybe Lanzababy can help.

I do indeed know.
We even have a FAQ :
http://www.h2g2.com/help/forum_faqs#remove
If you get stuck, post back and I can do it for you. Basically, you need to take it back onto your own page, and then resubmit - you can't move it directly from one forum to another.

Click on 'Alternative Writing Workshop' at the top of this page.
Scroll down to where your story is listed.
Look over on the right, next to your Usernumber. There should be an X.
Click on the X, and you'll be unsubmitted. Then you can resubmit in Peer Review.

mvp,
go here: http://www.h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/brunel/RF5
Find your ENtry in the list.
Follow the line to the right and you'll seee your U number. There should be an x next to it on the right.
Click the x.
This will give you the option to remove the Entry from the AWW.
Once you have done that you can edit the Entry again, make it appropriate for Peer Review (remove first person.. "I think", "I did" etc.").
You should get the Submit for Review button back on your Entry.
Once you're happy it's ready for Peer Review, submit it!
