Here's an Entry I started last year, and finally got around to looking at.

Very interesting. I didn't know much about him at all, so it was all new to me. Perhaps you could embellish the title slightly - to "John Deacon - Queen bass player" or something. I was a little confused at first, but dived in to read it once I'd worked it out.
I shall certainly pay more attention to the bass when I next hear a Queen track.

Interesting entry. John did always seem to be 'the quiet one' in Queen alongside three big and louder personalities, but without him there wouldn't be a bassline. And some of their most famous songs, like 'Another One Bites the Dust" are all about the bassline.
Just one suggestion - I see you have links for Roger and Freddie, but not Brian. I know we haven't got a separate entry on Brian, but wouldn't you consider linking to A3641799? Admittedly, that entry is a bit more general, but the conclusion is all about Brian.

A well written article – all I have to say is that I can't believe it has taken so long before h2g2 has had an article about John Deacon.

The Deacy Amp -- shouldn't that be "Deaky" or even "Deakie"? It looks like it's pronounced Dee-see at the moment.

Thanks everyone
Title updated
Link to Guitar Heroes added - great Entry!
I've added a footnote to Deacy Amp - strange how it is definitely Deacy Amp, but then I think it is usually Deaky Do (although searching just now, I found about equal numbers of Deaky Do and Deacy Do, so I could change it to Deacy to be consistent, even though Deaky looks better...). Hmm.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Thanks everyone!
I'm pleased to see an Entry on Mr Deacon making its way into the Guide and I'm so pleased that it was me that had the opportunity to write it, as I have been a fan of his for quite some years now
