Thanks for the picture Dmitri. It is just about perfect.
I remember learning map reading, knots, first aid, and how to light a fire with two matches. Camps were fun but I'm sure modern Guides do a wider variety of activities.

In my innocence, I thought things like GPS were supposed to make navigation easy.
I suppose I should have realised that you need a manual and an introductory course!
