Hi all. This is obviously unfinished, but I'd like advice on whether describing lots of games is actually going to be interesting.
Also, I have a certain bias towards "games I've played a lot" so if anyone wants to contribute their own descriptions of other games I'll consider adding them.

I like the approach.
I also see no problem with using a game to illustrate the gameplay style.
Are there official game types, or are these one you've found? For example, I'd say that Settlers is more of a resource game, like Race to the Galaxy.
Unfortunately I have no more words of wisdom as I got very little sleep last night, and typing on an iPad is fine for short posts but rubbish for long ones. Sorry.

Hmm. Well worker placement and deck building are definitely terms people use. I may have tried to hard to fit everything into categories though.

Sorry, bad habit of starting things and never finishing them. I will try to have another look at it, but if anyone wants to finish it for me I don't mind.

The danger in writing something like this is that you will aim for comprehensive coverage of the topic, which means that you will never finish it. Is there any chance you could write an abbreviated version which could be published soon? It reads well, and is interesting stuff. It would be great to see it on the Front Page.

Of course I meant to say 'I hope you HAVEN'T ed'.
But it appears you have, so I think it is time to send this to the Flea Market.
