Only further comment I can make is 'Cake or Death?', which you could've mentioned. It's my favourite sketch . But you already have a lot of sketches in there.

I'm glad yourself and Mrs Ste enjoyed the entry -

I did think about including 'cake or death? , cake please...' but it would have looked really in text, as it would be taken so out of context - also, I wanted to keep the best bits out of the entry, as those bits, 'cake or death' et al, are best seen fresh rather than second time round

Also, as the entry is now pushing over 3000 words, I don't really want to add more quotes to the entry

Just wanted to post a quick thumbs-up. I'm sure everyone will have hir own favourite Izzard moments (I like the 'Executive Transvestite' line) but this is a great entry - talks about lots of stuff, but keeps moving at a quick pace - couldn't tear myself away from it

Excellent entry on a wonderful performer, and a certainty for the Edited Guide. It's a great read - comprehensive, well-written and highly entertaining. Very well done!

My one minor quibble is with the (repeated) phrase 'self-confessed Europhile', which implies that there's something wrong with liking things European. Perhaps 'self-proclaimed Europhile' would be better?

Probably - I was writing this a bit late at night, so my thinking skills may not have been as sharp....
