I enjoy being submissive with my Dom but he acts as if he doesn't care about my feelings at all sometimes. Is this his way of letting me know he is the Dom and I'm his Sub or what?

Agreed with what you've said in that* thread :-
It is all about communication with any D/s relationship... Both ways, from the Dom to the sub and visa versa; ensuring each lets the other know what they're 'happy with', what they maybe arn't so happy with etc...And, of course, especially for the sub to ensure the Dom knows what and where any fast and hard limits are on the range/type of 'play' your involved in...

Its good (or so I've always found), if as a sub you can* talk to the Dom sometimes on more 'equal' footing, err hard to explain, but kind of being able to communicate with the Dom less as a 'sub' and more just person to person if that makes sense... Its not always easy though, and maybe writing to them or having it put down in writing at least is a good way to do it if your not so confedant in telling them things face to face...
