It won't take long for you to find your way around.
Try clicking on anything that looks like a link. You can find out about people by clicking on their names, and see what conversations they're in on the bottom of their page. You can leave them a message too, most people won't bite.
Try starting with Ask H2G2 F19585?skip=0&show=25, that's pretty much where I started. Have a look around, read some of the backlog and have fun!
