Apparently JKJ described the River Thames at Cookham as 'the sweetest stretch of all the river'.
Pity this isn't in the Entry <erm.

Well I would have included it if anyone had mentioned it in PR, I hadn't personally come across that quote before. Thanks for mentioning it here though.

Tell you the truth, I thought it had been mentioned. I came across it this afternoon (in the Weekend Mag of the Daily Mail) and recalled seeing his name mentioned in PR fairly recently. The obvious place to check was your Entry and, to my surprise, it wasn't there.
Perhaps it might be worth inserting when you can apply to Editorial Feedback?

I'm not sure that is entirely necessary, a thread on the entry should do, as it all adds to the guide.

Well, the thing is, is that if one uses the Search Engine, one doesn't necessarily find info that's in the Discussion thread.

Well, you are welcome to write an entry on Jerome K Jerome if you want I'm happy with my Cookham entry, it does not need to contain everything that everyone has ever said about it.

I wasn't suggesting writing an Entry on JKJ.
I just thought it would be a nice line to (quote) to put in about the R.Thames at it passes through Cookham.

... and in any case, how many people of much stature would've made a quote about the R.Thames as it passes through Cookham?
