I must admit that I hadn't heard of him before the news of his death, and wouldn't be of any help to you for that reason, but I hope you get this one finished either on your own or with others, and get it into shape for PR.
Well, here's a weird bit of serendipity - as I was writing that I heard a news report that the plane in which he died wasn't required to have either flight data or cockpit voice recorders, and that rescuers are having a a hard time even getting to the wreckage because of mud. Perhaps I have been of some help after all

Does that mean you think this should be less biographical and more conspiracy to murder a candidate less than two weeks prior to election day? I wasn't really going to play that angle, I just thought maybe he deserved a mention.
