ok i put the sub eds could change the title cause i think it is ok and it would be up to the eds whether they want it changed slightly because of the other entry. i don't now the situation about that and i don't mind suggestions or info on that or anything.
DNA bit out and linked to, quote from book seperated in half, and half is put under a seperate header 'The Guide'.

It's probably a good idea to leave out the movie section, as it's an ongoing project that is likely to change quicker than we can keep the entry updated.

Just a few pedantic points..:
"H2G2 is a website stated by Douglas Adams"
I think you mean started, not stated.
"make space of a bypass."
*for* a bypass?
"a second radio series, a book and a television series were made"
I wouldn't refer to a book being "made", but "written"
"Marvin Stephen Moore Stephen Moore "
Maybe a little mention for David Lerner (was that his name? You know, the guy in the Marvin tin can)
"what is now know"
now known?
"The entry Ford Prefect on Earth was "
would sound better as "...prefect *made* on earth"/"Wrote on earth" etc.
And also, maybe a mention of Zaphod's relationship to Ford (half-cousin was it?)
That;'s about it.

I just nipped over to imdb you see, to chck I'd told you the right guy, and David Lerner, as I had called him, was only there as either a writer, a cinematographer or an "Other crew member", so I checked the HHG entry and tyhought, oih bugger I've spelt his name wrong.

*is it ok to come out now* -from underneath a table...
Phew, now that's over, lets get on with PR...
* Rolls up sleeves *
Ok
"At the time Zaphod only had two arms and one head"
As far as I remember he was actually dressed as a pirate with a parrot cage covered in a cloth on his shoulder, thus hiding one head.
TV Series animation - It might be worth a mention - after all, it did win a BAFTA and fooled most of the IT world into thinking it was all computer generated.
The other thing I wonder about is whether this entry should be 'spoiler free' or be the definitive entry on the books/TV/radio series? If it's to be definitive then standby for a lot more information

Ah, but if you give away the plot then someone who hasn't read the books but reads the article would be disappointed about the spoilers...

Depends what spook wants to put in... there could always be a spoiler warning included.

Arhur said at the time he only had 2 arms and one head, and nothing mentions him hiding his other head and arm. it is likely he had an axtra arm and head added, but this is never explained.
i'll add some stuff about the animatronics and stuff later once i've researcher. i'll say once i've updated it.
what i am trying to do with this entry is to create an entry which explains in detail THHGTTG but without spoiling the story for people who haven't read. I look at a number of different aspects, however, i have not been giving detailed story plots for the books or episode guides for the radio series or tv series for 2 reasons - 1. so that it isn't spoilt for people who haven't heard of THHGTTG, and this entry would hopefully make them want to read it/watch it/listen to it etc, and 2. i am leaving this open for myself or someone else to write in detail entries on:
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - The Radio Series
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - The TV Series
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Book Trilogy
in those entries, they would contain detailed descriptions of the plot and spoilers, while this entry provides information without spoiling it for those who haven't seen it, and also mentioning a couple of the most important elements from THHGTTG, ie Earth, 42 etc
thanks for commenting!

Trillian: ...he had a bird cage over it, of course. With a cloth over the cage. Pretended he had a parrot. He tapped on the cage and it did a lot of stupid "Pretty Polly" stuff...
