Not bad, eh?
Sadly, my output's going to be shrinking back a little - just been commissioned for another book, and this one's going to be a biggie, so that's my spare time out of the window ... he says while on-site during his week off

What type of books do you write?
If you look on some of my pages you'll see I'm usually reading books more than writing
In fact the myxoma piece is the first that I have ever seriously written thanks to the help and encouragement of friends I have made on here and in Leisure District.
We've just had a writing competition and another one has started to help and encourage other LDer's to
write entries.
Have fun,but don't work too hard
Remember laughter is good therapy for writers block.

Sorry to take so long to reply to you - I'm out of the office until Monday.
I generally write factual books about films and TV. I think I give a list of them on my Personal Space, but that section's hidden for the moment, replaced by the answerphone message to show I'm off-site
The first book I did was on the kids' show Press Gang, which led to me becomoning the creative writer at Sony (PlayStation) for three years, which led to me co-writing abook on Friends (two editions), then another co-authored on on Hitchcock, and then two solo projects, Scorsese and the unofficial guide to '24'. So the next one will make it number six - or seven if you count Friends twice
But this year I've branched out into fiction - one very short story in one sci-fi anthology, and the linking matrial for a Doctor Who anthology which should be out soon. And of course, written all these entries
It's good to be in a job where I get to write what I want rather than what someone's having difficulty expressing what they want (which was usually the case when I was a copywriter).
And that's the best writer's block tip I ever did see!
Jims

That is some acheivement, well done you . I have some factual books but they are mainly referance books on History and the Universe and other subjects that come in handy for homework.I've only had a computer for about a month so I'm still learning .
I use laughter as a destress method because with 6 children in the house you can get very stressed when your trying to get certain things done so I find it easier just to go and have a laugh and a muck around with them. Then I can go back to what I was doing relaxed and it gives your mind time off too.Sometimes you may even find an idea there when you sit back down to write. You never know.
Good luck with your new venture's.I'll keep my eye out on the book shelves for some of your work and have a read.
Have fun

Cheers - and hope your computer adventures lead you somewhere fun. My dad started doing computer courses out of curiosity and now he's a bit of a whizz with them. He actually built my first PC from scratch.
