Hmm, interesting. I have been there, kind of - I took part in Labour campaigns years ago, when it still seemed worthwhile. I don't think the Lib Dems bother campaigning in my Parliamentary constituency, Bradford West - they came fourth behind the Greens at the last General Election. But I might well join in local or European election campaigns. There are certainly areas around here where the party is very strong. My parents' local councillor is a Liberal Democrat.

I hope I hear from the party soon. I posted my cheque and application form nearly a fortnight ago, and haven't heard anything back yet.

I know when you register online, they say to give them 30 days to process your application.

That's reassuring. I'll be patient, then!

Hey they usually are quite go as application are done on a federal level generally. Howweer I think England may take slightly longer than Scotland did for me.

We'll see what comes first your membership or my interview to be a parliamentary assistant on 30th.
