I have only ever tried to write rubbish.

You mean, as opposed to surrealism, PBS?
I thought it was a cool poem - but, since Bel and I had fussy footnotes, I, er, didn't want you to feel left out.

Thanks, and I do appreciate the comments (although I never seek them). The sad thing is that a few weeks ago I put together a couple of anthologies of all the acrostics that I have written over the past few years. Overall, they tend to be infinitely depressing, and that's not really 'me'.

That's okay. We know better. 
It's poetic licence.
I hope I'm not as dopey as these acrostics make me out, either.

Writing Acrostics is a just a 'word game' - like doing crossword puzzles.
Writing propper pomes is a bit different.
