Thanks so much for sharing this. Was your trip to Africa a one-time-only deal, or will you be going back? One of my mother's cousins went to Kenya every year - she just loved the country and the people. However, she said it could be dangerous; you didn't go out of your hotel at night (lions, I think).
I wonder how many of these wonderful birds will disappear when bird flu arrives in Africa....
