I would love to see Bill Bryson as a guest on Have I Got News For You. He'd be a far funnier and interesting participant than some of the semi comedians and low profile politicians that have been appearing recently.

Bill Bryson is the author of (among many) Notes From A Small Island. It's a very very funny and entertaining book. He also made a TV program of the same name.
