deano, if india is so wonderful, and from the sound of it it is all that stuff is very impressive, and if india is only like that because of england colonising it, how come britain is such a mess and is no where near as sucessful as india? i think it might possably have something to do with india and the indians being nicer people wo like democracy than us annoying them for a while.

Good point, Fraeya. I confess that colonisation has had fairly good outcomes in some ways. But I cannot forget the way we colonised places and why. We were horrible, unsympathetic and, on the whole, very ignorant of them.
