Not at all. Never mind the "Bring Back Angus" petition, hows about "Bring On Researcher 211486" instead?

it is quite simple. If the BBC don't bring back Angus Deayton, then when the contract with Hat-Trick runs out after 2 more series, the show is going to a channel that couldn't give a monkeys about his private life (as don't most of the nation). C4 would have it, and bring him back. they've said already. C5 could have HIGNFY too.
as for bringing the show into disrepute (post 25 or something by 'stuart'), the whole story made the show even more popular. half my school started watching when they heard, just to see what the fuss was about.
some of the funniest episodes of the show were during that saga, and when Hat-Trick take HIGNFY to C4/C5, the BBC can blame themselves and themselves alone. unless they bring him back that is...

Such is the innocence of youth.

Yeah. Call me old fashioned but I can't stand all this tedious mucking around with bringing on new presenters each week. Somehow the different ways in which they present the show turn it on its head. One minute Anne, then John, then Boris. I just want it to be the same wit each week, because it's one of those humours that doesn't seem to age. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but I don't look forward to itany more, because I always end up wondering what we're going to get this week.

have i got news .... is still a very entgertaining prog but....
the chairmen have all had their particular attributes but, sadly do not compare to deayton
i do agree that public figures ought to behave themselves - or, perhaps should not be caught
please bring him back - after all, were his transgressions so much worse than many public figures?

Whatever happened to Jeremy Beadle, anyway? I haven't seen him since he appeared on "Sooty and Co" about 8 years ago.

OK, OK. I can cope with Stuart because my Grandad has the same way of thinking, but I've got to caution you against underestimating youth. Hard to do, I know- especially as I see tomorrow's society and cringe 5 days out of 7, but we're no thicker than anybody else, really. Our points can, depending on what they are, be just as valid as the ones made by the experienced generation.

"be the gerneration that keeps gong on and on and on andonandonandnandon"
That must be the younger generation then. Considering I havnt posted to this thread for nearly three months, it cannot possibly mean me!
Oh' and the reason I haven't posted is that when personal insults start flying I consider I have won the argument so there is nothing else left to be said as the other party has nothing contructive to add.
