The quotations you produced, are they really from Bush?
I understand he finished college in some ivy league institution, very prestigious; and he was pretty smart to make a lot of money.
Also he got to be governor of Texas.
Some guys are just lucky.
He is a conservative Christian; so I guess he would not attribute his good life and position as head of the strongest nation on earth of all human history to luck; more or really to God's will.
Now, we know how God tries us.
