The Utterly Fake Genious

Gosh..I recognize myself.. I didn't know that that many people actually watched EuroVision any more, thought it was for sad people nowadays, that the big hype was gone to bed..but no. I am Norwegian, and I recently moved to Wales to study there. Every now and then, about 1 our of 10-15 at LEAST, when get to know I am Norwegian, stares at me and say: "Norvege..nill poaints"!.. what am I to say? We were all ashamed of our song even before the guy who sung it went over to participate..the guy lives in Bergen, my hometown, and apparently there were some bricks thrown in his window etc..rediculous really..

You poor baby !! To leave one semi-civilised nation, only to visit another which is even more backward ! (only joking, of course. I'd couldn't possibly be that rude to someone - until after I'd met them). What does one study in Wales ?! Are you a sheep kinda person ? . . . And have there been any notable Eurovision contributions from the Land of Song ? (popular belief suggests that Welshmen are better than average chanters).

Jahn Teigen, nil points etc.

Bobbage

I heard he had a TV show and a chain of restauarnts now - even a covers band called "The Jahn Teigen Experience" (there's original). Not bad for twanging your braces and doing the splits mid-air on a balmy, seventies May eve in Paris. At any rate, I'd certainly have voted for him rather than the last Norwegian winner (you know, the dull Irish song disguised as a dull Norwegian song - wonder how they got that idea?)
