Hi,
I really think that this article needs some more work before it could be considered for the Edited Guide. It's very much an opinion piece, and although such pieces do make it into the EG they tend to be rather more 'fleshed out'.
This isn't to say that there is no foundation for a good article here. I'd suggest that you might consider putting it into the Writing Workshop and getting some feedback.
