42 Lucky Winners

As promised far too long ago, 42 lucky people were picked
from a virtual hat from everyone who signed up on the day we launched live on
BBC 1's Tomorrow's World and will each receive a copy of 'The
Illustrated Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' signed by Douglas Adams.
And just to prove that we're really sending them out, here's a picture of
Douglas with one of the winners' envelopes.

them on their enormous good fortune. Mysteriously, there have been a few who
have been incommunicado. They are marked in the list below. If
