look as far as I know Douglas Adams has written the screenplay as in full control ok so calm down

i've heard that there have been several lawsuits between several movie companies wanting to produce it. then again, they say the same thing about the up and coming spider-man movie. (mental flash-back of the 70's tv spider-man movie, [insert uncontrolable shudder here!])

I found out, from ZachsMind's page, that Douglas Adams wrote a script for the movie, but Disney didn't like it and are getting someone to rewrite it.
How could they do this?

Before y'all get too upset, do a little research about what movies have been made by Disney. I think you might be surprised.

Disney is the parent company for about 2 dozen different film companies, making everything from the sappy kids' movies that have your undies in a bunch to sex and violence and adult themes.

Odds are, one of your favorite movies was made by Disney, but you didn't know it.
