It's not the whole poem, but personally, I gave up after the first two stanzas anyway. I didn't understand a word. smiley - erm

The Beat Poets were a breed apart, Bel. It's a difficult poem. In terms of its 'obscenity', maybe we should think of the court decision on 'Ulysses', in which the judge essentially said that any 15-year-old boy who could get something out of that book was welcome to it. smiley - rofl

I recommend the film 'Howl' - it uses animation and voiceover to make the poem more understandable. The 'Moloch' section is particularly good.
