Hi there, Dei, you Chuckler, you,
Yeah, it took me a while to work out the thing about Brunel looking different for your own space than for so else's (til I first looked at someone else's, basically).
The 'posting' page is good, specially for newbies. And have you tried writing an entry in it yet? Those buttons are really handy for non gml-gurus.
gotta go, pc is humming ominously and...
We must perform a Quirkafleeg!
Ah, that's better.

Another good thing, is the way it displays the 'My conversations' gadget. I like the way it is black if no-one has replied to your last post in somthing, and you get all the right info.
Ah, that's better.

Yeah, it has some convenient features. It's growing on me like a fungus. I set it as my default skin now, so after a month or two, I might look back at Alabaster or Goo and realize all the features or convenient layout adjustments that Brunel has given me. Who knows.
Remind me what a Quirkafleeg is?
Ah, that's better.

Never a Jet Set Willy fan? There was a room named 'We must perform a quirkafleeg' in that (excellent) vid game from the 80s, JSW.
It originally (and they don't come much more original) from a Fat Freddy's cat strip, where Freddy says it in a fantasy where he is a doctor, I think.
I had completely forgotten about it, then saw something on h2g2 about JSW and was reminded of it. I actually posted an 'Ask h2g2' to find out where it came from, as I had forgotten the FFC reference and thought I must've seen it in a movie somewhere. But I was promptly put right, and immediately slapped my forehead and said, 'Oh, yeah! How did i forget that?!'
Ah, that's better.

Home video game platform or an arcade game?
And my knowledge of Fab Furry Freak Brothers comes from "A History of Underground Comics," so I'm too young for some of those references.
Key: Complain about this post
I'm giving Brunel a whirl
