Before the civil war Jynia was ruled by a royal family or the "hearts" of Jynia an interesting fact that in ally of Jynia these were the only ones with green eyes and if any one else bore a baby with green eyes then both they and the baby would be sacraficed to the god of life "pfainkyahl" and if a member of the royal family bore a child of eyes of any colour other than greenthen the prince/king had to choose a new wife and the old one and the baby would be sacraficed.

Going along with eye colours a peasant would be known from their blue eyes while brown eyes belonged only to slaves or the hearts guards.
