Best food in Pawhuska can be found at the Whizbang Cafe, a couple of doors south of the Chinese restaurant on the west side of Kihekah Avenue. Chap that runs the place returned home from the restaurant business in places like San Francisco; his menu is nouvelle cuisine, reasonably priced. Fu-Manchu has eaten there on several occasions and can say that the grub is good. Access to the dining room is through the junque shop next door, which is run by his mother.
