Don't forget the QL's "dongle", which was I believe part of the motherboard that they couldn't fit inside the main casing, and so splodged on the back like a giant plastic wart.

Ah yes - "the kludge" I believe it was called.
I considered mentioning it, but I wanted this entry to focus on the *successes*, really, and the QL - kludge and all - was really a bit of a flop.
