Where are my glasses?

This must be a very common problem, but when you are extremely near-sighted (like I am, -6) it's a disaster not being able to locate my glasses, because I'm half-blind without them...
I had taken off my glasses and put them on the cover of my bed before pulling a sweater with a rather tight neck over my head - when the phone rang
...wriggling to get into the sweater, I ran to answer it, and then returned to my bedroom - but I had forgotten exactly *where* on the bed I had put my glasses - and the cover was covered by a pattern of colourful flowers, making it impossible to see the glasses!
I had to fumble all over the bed before I managed to find them - but at least I learnt my lesson - from that moment on I've been *very* careful to memorize exactly where I put my glasses when I take them off...
Where are my glasses?

I had a friend of mine who was always getting her glasses broken. One day she took them off and put them on the coffee table, so that they would be in a safe place. Her boyfriend then decided to adjust the curtains, but as he was too short to reach, he pulled over the coffee table to stand on it and...*CRUNCH*.
Sometimes you just can't win, eh?!
