Yeah, sure! Here, have the mop but make sure you bring it back!
Hmm, any idea whatr we can use for the rest of the armour?

Ah, cool, Study Leave eh? Nice for some!
Hmm, well, we need the breastplate, backplate, arms and legs armoured still. Probably could do with some sort of decoration for the helmet, some sort of plume.
Can we have a as well so we can do the black knight vs thingy? please?

Here's a , fresh from the bleak pastures of the Black Knight's dread stronghold in the darkest depths of y Mynyddoedd Duon.
A couple of large baking trays from the kitchen should serve as breast- and backplates.

And perhaps a ladies favour for the good knight to go into battle with.
So ladies, any favours?
(any ladies? )

Study Leave Clare?I know all about that. The last week before Study Leave begins,is hell on a teacher's nerves. We end up with a lot of displaced stress and anger. My way of dealing with it is to get SPRING CLEANING!!!

You can't turf people out of the cupboard-under-the-stairs , or spring clean it.
It is exempt from all such attention due to the SHADOW rules, number 8, subsection IIIb
"You can't do that 'ere, no way, no how"
sits stubbornly lurking!

Clare Posted May 14, 2003
Anyway, we're assembling armour and weapons for a knight. Can't you go and spring clean the basement or something?

Well since I last spoke to you McKay has errr blow....errr slightly damaged the sewers in his spring cleaning attempts so I've now got to try and find a cheap(ish) builder, construction engineer to come and patch it up quietly so the water board/local council don't notice.
How about you handle the Spring cleaning in here?If we don't finish the spring cleaning though there will be NO MAY BALL.
Which reminds me where is the ball room? I thought it was on the second floor but I can't find it.
We just won't be ready for Spring Bank holiday.
Incog.

Any brooms here? I've found the ballroom, but it's rather dusty. Super polished floor, can't wait to get twirling in my party frock !

Is there a ladder in here?
No!I'll go look in the shed then.
Incog.
Cupboard-under-the-stairs
Dolt Posted May 26, 2003
Well, McKay, Clare and Teasswill are stuck in a Portaloo underneath the sewers, Incog's swinging from the chandeliers in the ballroom, Trillian's Child was last seen lurking in the kitchen, Ictoan is wandering about making bad puns, Tefkat's doing the gardening out back with no clothes on, and I'm wandering around between everywhere being slightly facetious.
So how're you doing?
Cupboard-under-the-stairs
Aurora Posted May 26, 2003
Is Incog still up there? I'll see if I can find the ladder. We can sort of dance around it until she gets back. Maypole?

Teasswill Posted May 26, 2003
Hello! Is there a safety net in there? Incog seems to be doing a trapeze act & I'm a bit worried. Come up to the ballroom & see.
Cupboard-under-the-stairs
Aurora Posted May 26, 2003
I think Incog took it down to the sewers a while ago. I'll go see.

"Ictoan is wandering about making bad puns"
bad? BAD?
Have you no comedic finesse? Each such humourous interlude from me is a well crafted gem of wit, I'll have you know.

Are you still in here? Excuse me while I have a look on the shelves - can't find a bottle opener.
Well that's interesting. A locked box and no key. I must come back and have another look at that sometime.
Cupboard-under-the-stairs
Clare Posted Jul 22, 2003
Ooh, and I've a key here without a lock or a box. Found it in the sewers...most interesting...here it is in my pocket, and here's a bottle opener too.
This key doesn't appear to fit though... do you think that means there's another locked box around?
s off to investigete
