Au contraire, that's exactly like me. I'm always forgetting to take the laboriously written list

Uurrrgh! Who left this bottle of milk on the side, it's all congealed and smells disgusting..... oh, it was me! Better get this cleaned up before Tefkat gets back from holiday.
Wake up, Teasswill, I think it's safe for you to go back home now, don't worry about the washing up, Incog did most of that after that massive omelette she cooked. Let me have your cup and I will rinse it out, or do you want another before you go?
I'll just tip this down the sink and rinse it away.....aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! The is back

Teasswill to the rescue - *bravely removes *
Earwigs, daddy-longlegs, now that's a different kettle of fish!
Better refill the ice cube tray again, can barely keep up with demand at the moment.
At least all the holiday washing is drying quickly.

Can't we leave the spiders? They get rid of all those scary daddy-longlegs!

Awful. I can only go outside when the sun's blazing down or the wind's howling.
On the other hand the wind's normally howling round here.

Since coming home, I've got loads of bites, but I don't know what from. Better dig out the antihisan before bedtime.

Just thinking about it makes me feel itchy again! I might have a nice cool shower... see if that helps.

Ooh! this looks a bit dusty. No one been here for a couple of weeks by the look of it. Now, first things first... kettle on.
Just wipe down these surfaces and see what's in the fridge.
I presume that green furry ball is the remains of the cheese, and that long brown thing is not something the left, but a fossilised sausage. In the bin!
Kettle's boiled. Good job I brought in some milk. Just make the and lay out the
Hope someone comes soon, I don't think the scales can take much more.

Ice skating! Oh, show me the bruises! No, I bet you can skate OK, me? I'm like Bambi on ice, a leg at each corner and then in need of a few more for balance.
When my girls were younger I let them have ice skating lessons for a couple of years, just to give them another entertainment option when they were out and about on their own.
When Wilma (my eldest, and not her real name!) went to secondary school her class tutor offered to take her entire class skating one day in the holidays, he also invited other members of their families to come. Betty, my youngest, was all for going and so the three of us went. I was the only Mum to turn up, which actually turned out to be a bit of a novelty and most of Wilma's class wanted to take it in turns to escort me round the ice.
The class tutor produced several photos the next day of me undergoing a range of facial expressions that would have challenged any gurning champion as I tried to look confident, whilst clinging desperately to whichever friend of Wilma's was facing the task of completing a circuit with me, without me hitting the deck!
Happy days - more ?
Take care Universal Granny

A few aching muscles but otherwise unscathed - I was never taught, but went a few times in my teens & have picked it up again fairly easily. I can usually manage a circuit without grabbing the side rail at least - like riding a bike I get spooked if anyone comes close . Pleasantly smug that I was better than my teenage son & friend that I took
More lovely, thanks!

Crumpets anyone? Now if we had an open fire somewhere, we could toast them properly...
