Good entry but the following paragraph:

"GameCube sales recently skyrocketed and it is now selling on a par with PS2, while both are outselling XBox by a ratio of 14:1. Though Microsoft believes it can survive on the American and European markets alone, as Sega demonstrated, this is a load of dingo's kidneys."

Microsoft can afford to forget the Japanese market as they have so much finacial might to put behind Xbox but they are still trying in Japan

Gamecubes ARE selling well but this may not be forever (the rush to buy argos's £70 deal will slow down) so this may paint a rather disillusioned picture to gamers looking back on this entry in a few years time. The Gamecube is struggling and was being beaten by the Xbox until 2 weeks ago.

Not precisely. GameCube started leagues ahead of XBox despite being launched later, but then XBox sales went on the increase. XBox is now outselling GameCube, but GameCube was never really making a loss. I use the phrase 'at the time of writing,' so people will understand that that was the situation when this entry was written.
