I'd like to be a translator. I speak French fluently. I've never even seen some of these badges. ANd what are the little thinggees? Help!

I haven't seen them - or the translator badges - in use anywhere myself either!

The translator scheme is one of those ongoing ideas - one day it might get implemented... basically there's a problem with postings in foreign languages, if the moderator doesn't understand it, the post gets failed. The idea was that postings in foreign languages could possibly be moderated by volunteers - but the whole thing is a little complicated and seems to have hit a brick wall for the time being.

PS Just where did you find the code for the small brunel badges?

Well, the code for the normal badges says 'big'. Since I'm just as nosy as you (
) I thought it would be worth trying to write 'small' instead...

Right click on the badge you want and click on View Imagine or equivalent and copy the address.
