Perfectly put, Zagreb. Once we get out of this gravity well and it's consumerism new things will be born. Space is infinite and for a few dozen generations the solar system may as well be.

I was talking about finding little alien dustmites 
on Mars, I ment something impressive like another race of intelligent life like ourselves.

Respect for life is respect for life. I was talking about turning an entire planet into a new start. If we find giant intelligent dustmites somewhere, all the better.
