Entry: Clovelly, Devon. - A799897

In a week in which my last languishes listless and forlorn in the most neglected list, I should like, if I may, undismayed, to offer another small geographical entry for your consideration, in the hope of guiding the passing hitch-hiker to a not entirely insignificant corner of this paltry globe.

What a pleasant picture you paint Pheroneous
I think the word 'incomers' may need hyphenating... I'm not 100% sure on that though.
I've often found that subheaders rather than headers are better for shorter paragraphs. Too many headers in an entry can break it up and make it look too... clunky. Sorry, I can't think of a better word.
I reckon this entry should get a pretty good reception

Greetings!
I like this - I went to Clovelly a few times as a kid on various family holidays. The only thing that I can think to add is that (I think) there are bits of Clovelly that are outside the cobbled sloping bit, and are quite normal. I think that's "lower Clovelly" or something, but it's all a bit of a blur.

A good entry!
Your use of capital letters in headings is inconsistent. Other than that, it is great! Good to hear from you again, Pheroneous.

Praise from a professional, G, is praise indeed! Do you guys want to leave nothing for the subs to do?? I have attended to your needs, except that incomers should be a well enough used word by now to lose its hyphen.

There's a 'Vistors Centre' left to fix and perhaps you could give more precise directions on how to find the place, but that's about it.

Given that one of the themes entwined through this little effort is a distress at the sheer number of visitors, I am disinclined to add to them by enabling those who cannot, or will not, read a map to visit.
Congratulations - Your Entry has been Picked for the Edited Guide!

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
