Feel free to delete all the chatty postings I mistakenly placed in the "serious" place.
I'm getting used to having postings deleted.

Donna, that's the problem - we *can't* delete postings or threads!
(Unless they're obscene or somesuch, in which case we them to the moderators...)
I wasn't trying to be nasty; it's just that there is a fundamental difference in design between H2G2 and the Apple boards, and not everybody has been here long enough to realise that yet - I was afraid that by the time they do, the damage would be done.

I didn't think you were nasty. I thought that maybe you could delete those posts (or move them over here). Sorry to hear that you can't.
Also, thanks for pointing us in the right direction for the off topic area!
Donna

VYVYAN: I must be hallucinating. What's good for a hangover?
MIKE: Drinking heavily the night before.

You don't have to tell me. That's why I never get anything done on sundays.

Hey, folks...
Quiet in here, isn't it...
I just thought I'd drop by and mention that I'm going to be "relieving myself of some of my Mac inventory" (hopefully) by putting all my 68K Macs and associated peripherals up for sale on eBay, just hanging on to my one Power PC model. My user name over there is peet42, in case anybody wants a good laugh...
There'll be other Apple items too, as time goes on and I have time to dig them out, including a slew of Apple ][s.

Well, that really killed the conversation...
You won't be surprised to hear that my 68K Mac Powerbook and monochrome Mac flatbed scanner didn't raise any bids, and I've been too lazy to try again.
Key: Complain about this post
