BORE
couple OF
I refer you to Long Dark Teatime, when Kate's talking about "Run like the Devil" - '...not "is his stuff allright?", nor "is his stuff allright when you take away all the adjectives?" but "is his first name ' etc etc etc.
I can't wait to see what you've tried to do to Marvin.

Sorry to disappoint you. I've never read Long Dark Teatime of the Soul, so if DNA has a character in that book named Kate, it's pure coincidence.

No, it was the line concerning adjectives, their overusage and the subsequent effect this has on the prose concerned I was brining to your attention. Why the hell ahve you not read Long Dark Teatime?

I wasn't aware it was a crime to not read Long Dark Teatime of the Soul.

It isn't. It's good, though. The main benefit of the book is that it's not science fiction, thereby making it more likely that normal people rather than SF fans are reading DNA books and coming to this site.
