Hello, and welcome to the guide
You've picked a good topic to do an article on , but I'm afraid that this article, as it stands, is far too short. There's lots you can add to this.
For a start, you need to say that they're tiny... I didn't get that from your article. Then some information on how to care for them, how rare or common they are, any behaviour characteristics of the breed, things like that. Also maybe link to some of the websites devoted to them... http://www.devonrex.com/ for example.
If you take a look at A676217 you can see that the typical 'breed of pet' article contains lots of information. Your's doesn't need to be *that* long, but it odes need to be longer than it is at present.

Thank you - much appreciated, sensible comments. It's good to get an idea of reader expectations. I'll amend it presently.

Hi Researcher 198895,
Awww. This is a very sweet and personal introduction I've always wanted a Devon Rex so am interested to know more. Do you know anything about the history of the Devon Rex? Who first bred them and how? Also, why should they not be mixed with Himalayans? Haven't they got curly hair because they're missing one of the three layers of hair that cats usually have? And isn't there such a thing as a Cornish Rex too? Though I've no idea of the differences.

I'll try to get more info from my wife, who is the expert. I'll add the detail when I get it.
There is such a thing as a Cornish Rex. The difference is in head shape and temperament. Both have short hair. There's also a hairless kind (as in the Austin Powers movie).
Himalayans are hairy; very hairy. Sweet tempered, but not so social as the Rexes and try not annoy them. Himalayans remember a slight and take some satisfaction in revenge.

I didn't realise the Austin Powers cat was a Rex. I've always felt a bit sorry for them since I heard about one that a friend of a friend had which just sat in the airing cupboard and wouldn't go outside because it was permanently cold!

My apologies but the Austin Powers cat was a Sphynx - although closely related to a Rex. I'll do some more research. More anon - thanks for the feedback, btw.

A big improvement
Having just read my last post, I think I was rather aggressive. I'm sorry - it wasn't intentional.

No worries. I appreciated the comments the first time.
Things have been a bit frantic, but I should have some time to add to this entry on Friday.

Sorry for interrupting your conversation

This is a subject that is definitely overdue for inclusion in the guide, there are almost no breed-specific entries. It's almost as bad as the lack of entries about cheeses.
Congratulations - Your Entry has been Picked for the Edited Guide!

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
