A Conversation for Talking Point: 2011

2010 was a year of mixed blessings for me. The low involved having to redefine my relationship with my partner of 36 years and the high was definitely the holiday I took in Wales with my son.
My concerns for 2011 are for the economic conditions and cuts that will affect so many people's lives especially if there is a massive job loss which everybody is predicting. Am uncertain whether the coalition government will get away with it. It all could be a cut too far! At the same time I believe that we have the resilience both as a species and a nation to evolve beyond these events in whatever way we may be able. Happy New Year everyone - may we make it the best one yet!

the best bit first my last energy bill for 2010 was a nice cheaper than expected one after the two cold snaps still in credet with my suplyer
As for 2011 I think there is only gloom oil price sky high that petral dizal already at record and on the way up again pluse more fuel tax in April now thats one big cost of living rise then there is VAT its not on food thats a joke how dose food get to the shops dose it flap its wings on air who is this thick twit that said it not on food lorrys pay vat on fuel shop pay vat on delivery charges every thing has VAT indirect or direrct pluss.
Then there is UNENPLOYMENT ON THE WAY UP the privet sector will take that up another joke with inflation on the way up the privet sector will be laying off I can see inflation getting near to a dubble figer by the end of the year AND A REAL GOOD YEAR TO EVERY ONE
You see theres all the hidden charges every thing we us in this country gose by road that gose up in price as fuel gose up then theres the road tax going up again this year and inports cost more as our pound drops to record lows and so more cost of living more inflation what a twenty % VAT DOSE PLUSS A WEEK POUND
