The Beatles had already been done, so i did this band instead. This is my first entry in Peer Review

Hiya Rocketman,
I read this and it is looking good.
Especially great for a first effort at the lofty heights of the edited guide! I hadn't heard of the band but you give thorough and informative account. Good stuff.
Perhaps others can be more helpful in terms of content, but as far as style goes, I think it hits the spot.
All the best with this and future writings

Question -
Should i make the lists of band members into unordered (bulleted) lists, or just leave them as they are?

I was asked to have a look at this, so I have! I'm not big into my music so I'm probably quite a good person to pick, as I'll come at this from an "outsider's" view. Style wise, I agree, I don't think there's much to pick on. However, I do think it might be worth clarifying which titles are singles and which are albums - it's done later on, but when you say "full release" I wasn't immediately sure whether that meant commercially released album, or a single... Apart from that, I don't know if you can make it more link heavy as a lot of concepts (e.g. vegan) are mentioned in there which it might be worth referencing further as the emphasis is on the message of the band. Hopefully that makes sense... Oh, and one more thing, which may not be relevant as h2g2 notes the date of the entry but you mention "today" - it might be worth putting 2002 in brackets.

Cheers Excelsior,
All the titles are mentioned are albums. I've gone over it again and tried to either include the word 'album' or the number of tracks to make things a little clearer.
There aren't any edited guide entries on veganism. However, would http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/foodinfocus/pf_vegetarian_index.shtml be suitable as a 'related BBC Link'?

Oh, and because Anti-Flag are a strongly anti-apathy band, would a link to BBCi's News from America be suitable?

As far as I know you can link to whatever you want and it'll just turn up in the external links section? I suppose the thing to bear in mind would be how long the external sites are likely to be around for, and whether the link you've made will remain static...

I realise that most of the people here in Peer Review have never even heard of Anti-Flag, so i got my friend Punk Rock Hannah to take a look at it. She says that factually/content-wise everything's ok. Also, i've added a related BBC link to the BBCi news website. Is it suitable to be recommended just yet, or does it need more work?

It looks pretty good to me, and I'm a Scout - though unfortunately I don't have any picks to hand out right now! I must admit that I hadn't heard of the band, but I found this interesting anyway. All the ideas you've had for 'related BBC links' sound good to me - I'd put 'em in if I were you.
Just one line puzzled me. In the bit about their album 'Their System Doesn't Work For You', you say: 'With 19 songs, this is Anti-Flag's recording so far'. That looks as if there's a word or words missing before 'recording'.

I've added the two links as 'Related BBC Links' and corrected the mistake. The missing word was 'longest', by the way.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
