One of the truly great American acting treasures, Dwight Frye created the roles of 'Renfield' for the film 'Dracula' and 'Fritz' for the film 'Frankenstien.' He took over every scene he was in. He told the Los Angeles Times in the late 1920's that he had no interest in 'leading men roles' and would only consider 'character types.' Gone but not forgotten.
