from the looks of the numbers i crunched in 1999 though it appears i am not that good at doing it in my sleep hence why i am ammending those numbers with a very well thought out expanation as to what went wrong so those men in black suits and dark glasses stay away from me. IRS

Awwww!

I'm back everyone... but not for long! My monitor has blown up and I am borrowing TM's for the moment! I should be fully operational again soon I hope!

great cartoon! how many times have i opened an email from someone only to find three miles of addresses before getting to the reason for the email. worst is when you finally do make you way to the actual email only to find it is something you can't figure out why they sent to you
btw, greebo...sent off the refigured figures and reasons for said refigured figures. cross your kitty paws that those black suits leave me alone. i think they will, after all is said and done THEY owe my company money

It must be a jpeg! h2g2 won't accept bitmaps - well it wouldn't last week anyway?!

Hmmm it seems to now for some reason.

I can tell by the image that it was a medium quality jpeg at some stage, but when I downloaded it onto my computer off the web this morning to check it definitely thinks it's a bitmap image now.

May need some imput from the Towers perhaps?

It was quite apt in a way!

The couple of minutes while I waited for the cartoon to download was like sifting through all those email addresses!

I'm not quite sure what has happened Wowbagger. Typical - my monitor blows up so I can't get into my database to look.
Maybe Greebo can throw some light on this? I'm pretty sure that our blobbing contact doesn't change anything but just puts them up for us. I've never known a bitmap to squeeze through the system before though.

Once I have access to my pc again, I'll send the jpeg and get it into a faster-loading format for you all.

Hmm.. me received it as a bitmap image... just checked in the folder for this weeks Post... me thought it odd... so me checked what last weeks format was and it read as a bitmap as well... a lot of the graphics on h2g2 read as bitmaps to me though... so maybe my computer loves bitmaps or something...

Sorry if me made a mistake with it Mister Wowbagger... sir...

I would imagine that whatever graphics prog you are running, its preferred mode is to put everything into bitmaps - I had that problem with one of mine until I insisted it stopped doing it! Perhaps that's why I am paying the price now eh? It decided to rebel.
