Okay... how does this work? (soz for writing in betting conv, know I'm not sposed to)
I wld like to know how it is decided who wins the race.

~big grin~... Hi Catwoman.. don't panic... this is just the conversation for writing these little queries... the race will be run over a few days... the Smiley's have 15 squares to get to the end of the track.... the first Smiley to square 15 is the winner... there is a rather technical device for working out the movements of the Smiley's... once the race is begun... the moves are calculated every day until one Smiley has one... then the race is over... the winnings is paid out... and another race can be run...

Ah, but Harry Potter's broomstick does fly (you mean the nimbus 2000 or the firebolt?) unfortunately the problem is that it's fictional. Or is it?
Me likes Snape v muchly.
Also Sirius Black must be cute (in a bedraggled, mildly unshaven sort of way).
