Possibly the most important entry for the Guide thus far ... anyone got anything to add?

I have to admit to being an expert at the Egg Banjo This must get into the Guide if there's any justice, and isn't there an entry somewhere on how to fry the perfect egg that you could link to?

I had a look for an entry on the perfect fried egg but couldn't find one ... I've put links to various other things though just in case!

You're right. I could have sworn there was one Maybe it was a conversation in a forum instead. Methinks there's an opening for a Guide entry there Or maybe I was thinking about the entry for boiled eggs. I know there was one for that.

Liked the entry. Not much to add.

The perfect fried egg depends on whether you like the edges crispy or not. Matter of taste, really .

Definitely Guide bound!

This really made me chuckle... (still is).

The only comment I have would be to remove the firt person references (not a big job).

I love the references to the 'pulling' shirt and now have images of sloshed researchers making egg banjos...

I loved this entry.

I knew what egg banjo was, but I didn't know why. It's so obvious! Strumming away at a growing yolk stain; what else could it be?

I like the turns of phrase and the style. Really nice.

My only niggle is that one of the footnotes is a bit long for easy reading. Maybe you could consider redrafting that bit so it fits into the main text?

Minor niggle notwithstanding, this is a great entry and to the Guide with it.

I'm assuming your referring to the Pulling Shirt footnote? I think it would detract too much from the Egg Banjo to have it in the main text but it is still important to state the lofty position such an article holds in a persons wardrobe!

So i've left it as it is ...
