I think I'd like to visit Cork one day. It really sounds lovely the way you describe it.
The restaurant sounds nice, too. I bet you appreciated that you were only almost introduced to the bees.
It made me laugh how you said it, but it sounds great. A bit like what the slow food movement is after, I guess.

County Cork contains many of the gastronomic high spots of Ireland.
I think as a restaurateur I would be delighted if the biggest complaint was "the coffee was too hot". As for its bitterness, that's the way some folks like it -- perhaps you could have had a choice of coffee beans if you'd asked.
Café Paradiso is mighty, all right, and I can't wait to get back there again.
