Hullo,
Feel like I've been away too long. This reminds me of a Willy Rushton cartoon (do you know Willy?... if you knew Willy, like I knew Willy... <stops singing as thrown tin can of tomatoes lodges in throat> where a doctor peers up a naked man's rectum and proclaims: 'well, Mr Proudsack, if what you tell me is true, you'll never play the violin again'.

Wowbagger's always monkeying with the boundary between reality and fiction: he's such a tease.

Thanks fellas.
Not aware of Willy I'm afraid Mr spim. Sounds rather funny though. Can I find him on this computery type contaption I have in front of me? If so, where?
I was sitting listening to some rather pleasant music the other day wishing I could play it myself, when I suddenly realised that I could!
My, how I was surprised by the convenience of it all. No lessons to speak of, but here I am playin' away to me 'eart's content!

Indeed!
I am suprised you don't know Willy Rushton, Wowbagger. He used to be an invaluable member of the 'I'm sorry I haven't a Clue' crew and also captained a team in the old quiz about cricket hosted by Brian Johnson which I can't remember the name of now. He was a larger-than-life character with a fabulous bushy beard (sometimes anyway) and a very loud laugh. Infact, I would say that spimcoot's 'large' guy could be vaguely modelled on him (apart from the missing beard of course!)
Good grief! I'm waffling!

Er... I just like to point out that it's not eliegal to have MP3s of your music, as long as you own a copy of that music say on CD, it's the same as recording onto a caset.

If the cricket game is the same as the one on my Willie at the Beeb tape then it's Trivia Test Match shazz. Dogger isn't based on Willie but owes a lot to Willie's style of generic old man: as does my entire drawing style, and sense of humour, and hang dog jowls which appear to have a badger nesting in the hollow of each cheek. Well, maybe not the last... not yet anyway.

At least it was Badger.
It could have been Toad or Ratty.
THEN you would have been in trouble!
Wowbagger,just adding to the confusion

I can see how that would be a problem...

If I may just bring in another Willie at this point:
-'Ive got a nasty frog in me throat.'
-Better than a toad in the hole, old man.'

If you think about that real hard, you might your get the meaning, but I'd prefare if it wasn't right...
