Living Room

0 Conversations

The Largest room in the Manor, there are a jumble of ill-matching settees, sofas and chairs. A huge picture lies above an even huger fireplace, which is crackling away merrily. The surround has various knick-knacks and photos of various people. A film projector and a screen

The Picture glides up, obviously well used, to reveal a massive flat-screen TV, and speakers around the room for surround-sound. Next to the fireplace is a stereo, which also hooks up to all the speakers. Below the stereo is a mini-fridge filled with snacks and drinks: help yourself!

On the other side, is, as in every other room in the house, a large bookcase containing lots of...books, and CDs. There is also a VR set in the cabinet, feel free to create a virtual universe within... a virtual universe! [think of the irony!]

There are also a couple of windows that reach from the ceiling to the floor, so you can see the croquet lawn in the front garden. Opposite, are similar window, except they have hinges, and go into the garden.

A snooker tableNear the windows is a pool table, a minibar and an air hockey game, 'cos I love that game!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
