Entry: The Aelric Books of Richard Blake - A760367
Author: Gnomon [193] - U151503
This is back in Peer Review for your comments. In its previous time in Peer Review F91227?thread=8309785 the only suggestions were a formatting one and that it should have some quotes from the books. I've changed the formatting, added the quotes, and have also added a section giving details of the main characters encountered in the books.

Looks great, and reads though fine The only thing it left me wondering, was a bit about the author, himself, and some kind of chronology, as to when he'd written these books.... - maybe a little opening short paragaph, on that? (or that may just be me..... )

The books have been published one a year since 2009. I'll work this into the entry. Don't know anything of the biography of Richard Blake yet.

only if you think its a good idea... I mean; its about the books, not the author, but, I'm guessing, as there isn't a link from the entry, to an entry, on the Author, there isn't one; so a wee bit of background to him, very brief, just sort of 'seemed missing', when I read it... (especially as I've not come across him before as far as I can recall...)

OK, I've found out why I couldn't find anything on the author. I intend to add this to the entry. Before I do, what do you think?
"About the Author
Richard Blake is a pseudonym for Sean Gabb. Gabb is an English author, lecturer and political activist. He has a degree in History from the University of York, and a PhD in Political and Intellectual History from the University of Middlesex. He has worked as Economic and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister of Slovakia, as Director of the Sudan Foundation, and since 2006 as the Director of the Libertarian Alliance. He has published a number of books under his own name including two novels, _The Churchill Memorandum_ and _The Break_.
The Aelric books are published under the pseudonym Richard Blake, and very little biographical detail is provided by the publishers. This is probably to distance the books from Gabb's often controversial views on many topics. The distinction between socialist, conservative and libertarian are minor ones compared with the difference between Alaric's basically 21st-Century view of the world and the 7th-Century opinions of the people around him. It also somewhat distances Gabb from being ridiculed for writing books packed with sex and violence."

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
